Community Guidelines

PITCH YOUR GAME should create sporting visibility without turning people into objects. Performance may be assessed; a person's dignity may not.

Be authentic

• Use an authentic personal profile or a club profile you are authorised to operate.
• Do not invent roles, clubs, statistics, footage or relationships to mislead others.
• Do not impersonate a player, coach, scout, club or organisation you do not represent.

Respect people

• No threats, targeted harassment, humiliation, hate speech, sexual content involving minors or incitement to violence.
• Assess sporting content, not a person's body, origin, gender, sexuality, religion, disability or human worth.
• Do not publish private addresses, phone numbers, credentials, health data or other sensitive information without authorisation.
• No sexualised rating, “hot-or-not” conduct or degrading assessment of bodies or appearance. Sporting ratings must relate to the sporting content shown.

Respect rights

• Upload only photographs, video, music, club logos and text you are allowed to use.
• Obtain required permission from people shown. Exercise particular care with content involving minors.
• Do not share secretly recorded private conversations or footage from protected areas.

Protect the service

• No spam, fraud, phishing, malicious code or mass automated behaviour.
• No scraping, evasion of restrictions or attempts to reach accounts or data not intended for you.
• Report security vulnerabilities responsibly to support@pitchyourgame.de and do not exploit them.

Report, block and review

You can report profiles, posts and comments and block users in the app. For unlawful content or anything that cannot be reported in the app, email support@pitchyourgame.de. Identifying the content, location and reason precisely helps us review it quickly.

Admins cannot browse private chats generally. An authorised moderator may review a user-to-user conversation only when an open report exists for that exact chat, and each access is logged. Authorised support and moderation roles may read support chats with the PITCH YOUR GAME team.

Our measures

We generally decide after human review and aim to act objectively and proportionately. Depending on context, severity and repetition, we may remove content, restrict features, issue a warning, suspend an account temporarily or terminate it. Affected users generally receive a statement of reasons and may request a new review at support@pitchyourgame.de.
